Event Over!! 

By all accounts the Remembering Africa & Its Diasporas Workshop was a success.  The workshop brought in an international group of scholars.  They keynote address was given by Professor Sir Hilary Beckles (University of the West Indies, Cave Hill).  The workshop proceedings Remembering African and Its Diasporas:  Memory, Public History & Representations of the Past has been published with Africa World Press (2012).
